The Portable Lights American Trade Organization (PLATO) is pleased to announce that SATCO|NUVO has joined the organization as its newest member — becoming the first company to participate in PLATO’s new complimentary trial membership program tied to the purchase of the revised ANSI/PLATO FL 1 Standard.

The new initiative is designed to accelerate adoption of the updated industry performance Standard while welcoming new companies into the PLATO community. The one-year trial membership — extending through the end of 2026 — is available exclusively to companies that have not previously been PLATO members.

SATCO|NUVO® is a leading manufacturer of lighting solutions, offering more than 15,000 SKUs across bulbs, decorative lighting, functional and task lighting, and lighting components. The company introduces approximately 2.3 new products each day and serves residential, commercial, and industrial markets as a comprehensive single-vendor lighting resource. Known for its solution-minded approach, SATCO|NUVO partners closely with customers to solve application challenges while delivering on product quality, price, and long-term collaboration.

“SATCO|NUVO’s participation as our first trial member highlights the strong industry momentum behind the revised ANSI/PLATO FL 1 Standard,” said Andy Skoogman, Executive Director of PLATO. “This program removes barriers for new companies to adopt the Standard while experiencing the full value of PLATO membership.”

Companies interested in purchasing the revised ANSI/PLATO FL 1 Standard and qualifying for the complimentary trial membership can submit a request through PLATO’s Standard purchase form at:
